Two downtown restaurants to host jazz lunch fundraiser today

It was tough to get a table at two downtown restaurants Sunday, but diners didn’t seem to mind.

They had entertainment from area jazz musicians and guest servers such as Rock Hill Mayor Doug Echols with a rag busing tables to watch — and it was for a good cause.

At Jazz Lunch for Haiti on Sunday afternoon, McHale’s On Main and Citizen Corners donated 20 percent of the day’s profits to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.
