In April, Rock Hill,s WRHI-AM was awarded the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Crystal Radio Award. Ten winners were chosen from 50 finalists. This year, WRHI-AM was the only radio station in the Southeast to receive this award.

May is National Bike Month. The community is invited to celebrate by participating in several bicycle-related events, many of which will be held in Old Town. The Bicycle Rodeo and Mayor's Bike Ride were the first of the events, but there are still more to come.

Assortment of plants and crafts on sale is a 'taste' of future offerings
The Old Town Market in downtown Rock Hill opened Thursday night with what Old Town development manager Chrys Tuttle said is just a "taste of what is to come."

The Old Town Association and the City of Rock Hill opened Old Town Market on May 5 for the 2011 season. This is a farmers market where fresh, locally grown produce and handmade works by local artisans and crafters are made available to the community. Old Town Market is located at 118 Caldwell Street in Rock Hill, SC and will be open on a set schedule until September 29.
