An Appetite for Art: The Banner Project Exhibition
Posted March 10th, 2011 by Old Town
The Banner Project, a county-wide public art initiative produced and managed by the Arts Council, has been enjoyed by the community for the past four years. This project is an annual assignment, whereby students throughout York County create designs according to a specified theme. This year’s theme is An Appetite for Art.
The student designs selected by the Arts Council have been transferred onto lamppost banners and are now on display in this special exhibition. In Rock Hill, they can be seen in Old Town through the month of March.
