Austrian concert pianist Walter Hautzig will perform a recital of classical compositions on Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Conservatory of Music’s Frances May Barnes Recital Hall.

Formerly of the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Hautzig has performed all over the world, including numerous concerts in Japan and throughout western Europe and South America. Hautzig’s Winthrop recital will include Brahms’ “F Minor Sonata” and other works by Chopin and Schubert.
