The Arts Council of York County presents a Journey tribute with Trial By Fire - In 1996, superstar rock band Journey completed their 10th album “Trial By Fire” and prepared for a massive world tour, until frontman and legendary voice Steve Perry injured himself and the massive tour failed to happen. Trial by Fire, made up of 5 seasoned musicians, decided to re-create “the tour that never happened” and celebrate one of the most famous bands of all time. Audiences can sing along to the classics from the Steve Perry era, the height of Journey’s golden age.

On June 9th and 10th, York County will hold its first-ever Ag + Art Tour. This free, self-guided tour is an opportunity to visit local farms and learn first-hand where food comes from. Local artisans will also be in action at several of the tour stops.

The George Hatcher Band is "Coming Home" once again. Formed in England in 1976, The George Hatcher Band became a force in the European music scene garnering chart success and touring with such artists as Golden Earring, Thin Lizzy, Uriah Heep, The Doobie Brothers & Aerosmith and being a featured act at the legendary 1977 Reading Rock Festival. George returned to his roots in North Carolina in the 80s and toured with such artists as Bob Segar, Ted Nugent, The Marshal Tucker Band, Cheap Trick, The Kinds, The Dixie Dregs, Molly Hatchet and many more.
