STATEMENT IN REGARD TO UPCOMING EVENTS
On March 15, 2020 the CDC issued a statement in regards to COVID-19 which recommends that “for the next 8 weeks, organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States.” By following this recommendation, the Old Town Association has decided to cancel or postpone the following events. We value everyone’s safety and health and we feel canceling or postponing these events is in the best interest of everyone involved.
May 1 • 1st Friday Food Trucks at Warehouses on White • Cancelled
May 2 • Old Town Farmers Marketing Opening Day at Legal Remedy Brewing • Every Saturday from 8-11am.
May-July • Food Truck Friday • Cancelled
We want you to know that we are monitoring all recommendations and updates from government officials surrounding COVID-19 and we will inform you of any relevant changes. Our first priority is for everyone to take appropriate steps to limit the spread of COVID-19 and ensure our entire community remains healthy. During this time of adjustments in social events, work schedules and travel, we encourage you to remember our many small businesses in Old Town Rock Hill. Although you may not be able to visit them physically for extended periods of time, we recommend supporting them in other ways.
