Freedom Summer Camp

Freedom Summer Camp Mission Statement:

The mission of Freedom Summer Camp is to provide a safe environment that supports and encourages the well-being of each camper

by offering opportunities to explore, learn, and grow through an excellent camp experience.

Summer Learning Loss is a real problem for children. It is even a bigger problem when you add the amount of time children use electronics and technology throughout their day. Our Summer Camp Coordinator & Counselors have great educational backgrounds as college students, college graduates, and school teachers. They understand the importance of taking the time to read, write, and solve math problems daily. We have developed a program called "Active Minds" for the morning portion of your camper's day. During this time your camper will be able to read books on their level, and above their level. Their minds will be actively engaged in solving math problems and the ability to show their work. Most of all, they will have FUN doing it:)
