Start Points for Creative Thinking with Alf Ward Business and Professional Development Presentation

ROCK HILL, SC – On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 5 – 6 PM, at the Center for the Arts, 121 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC, the Arts Council of York County hosts Start Points for Creative Thinking with Alf Ward, a free business and professional development presentation.

Why do some people have hundreds of ideas about a given situation whilst others, of equal age, experience, and knowledge, struggle to suggest just one solution?

Much has been written about ‘creative thinking’ and its application and value in education and industry. This presentation outlines significant individual ‘start points’ that shape the way we think and how we can break creative ‘blocks’ in the arts and commerce.

The presentation will appeal to artists and desig

ners in all fields of ‘The Arts’ – plus middle management in industry and CEO’s wishing to utilize the full potential of their work force as creative thinkers in business and product development.

Admission is free, but the Arts Council asks those interested in attending to reserve your space in advance through the box office. Reservations can be made online at yorkcountyarts.org, by phone at (803)328-2787, or in person at the Center for the Arts, 121 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC.
