ROCK HILL, SC – Works by seven students in ninth and tenth grades at the St Anne’s School, John Paul the Great School of the Arts Gifted Program are on display in the Edmund Lewandowski Classroom Gallery at the Center for the Arts, 121 East Main Street, Rock Hill, SC through April 30, 2017, with a free, public reception on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.
Art teacher, Erin Hupp selected works by seven students enrolled in the John Paul the Great School of the Arts Gifted Program for exhibition. This program is a comprehensive fine and performing arts program for grades K3-12 that includes a certificate program for talented high school students, opportunities in the fine and performing arts for all students grades K3-12, and scholarship opportunities for high school students. The program is under the direction of
Dr. Jennifer Pierce. Dr. Pierce earned a Masters in Performance Studies from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and received a PhD with distinction in Theater History and Performance Studies from University of Pittsburgh.
The Center for the Arts is located at 121 East Main Street, in the heart of Old Town Rock Hill. The galleries at the Center for the Arts are open Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, every second and fourth Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and every second and fourth Sunday from 2 to 4 PM.
