Findings Reveal Number of Full Time Jobs Supported and Tax Revenues Generated by Local Arts Sector
What: The Arts Council of York County will unveil the results of Arts & Economic Prosperity 5, the most comprehensive economic impact study of York County’s nonprofit arts industry ever conducted. Results of the study reveal the level of economic activity as well as the number of full-time jobs the arts industry in York County generates. The study’s findings also show how much tax revenues the nonprofit arts sector produces for York County and South Carolina.

Webcast: The press conference will be streamed live at Rock Hill City Hall during which, the national results will be revealed by the Americans for the Arts. Immediately following the webcast, local spokespeople will announce the results of the local and regional studies. The webcast will be made available online at the Arts Council of York County’s website, yorkcountyarts.org the next day.
