Arts Council of York County Now Accepting Nominations for the Business and the Arts Partnership Awar

ROCK HILL, SC – The Business and the Arts Partnership Award was created in 1992 to recognize businesses whose dedicated partnership with the arts has been demonstrated during the calendar year. The judges represent business, the arts, and government. The winner will be honored at the Arts Council of York County's Annual Celebration to be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Center for the Arts, 121 East Main Street, Rock Hill, SC.

Past recipients of the Business and the Arts Partnership Award include: Sharp Business Systems, Family Trust Federal Credit Union, Carolina Fresh Farms, Duke Energy, Bi-Lo, Founders Federal Credit Union, O'Darby's Fine Wine & Spirits, The Herald, Williams & Fudge, and Comporium Communications.

The following criteria will be considered for each business:

  • Impact on the Arts Community;

  • Involvement in the arts (Examples include: employee volunteers, donation of in-kind services and goods, tie-ins that involve the arts in advertising, marketing, promotion, and public relations campaigns, establishments of arts collections);

  • Originality of the support programs.
