What do you get when you combine the five principal players from the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra? You’ll be treated to an evening of pure musical virtuosity as Alan Black & the Tryon Street Quintet perform a selection of chamber music highlighting the contrabass, featuring the wonderful works of Dvorak, Onslow, and Rossini.

Returning to the Arts Council’s concert series, The Hunts bring to the stage their indie folk music with layered harmonies and lyrics that gracefully shift from melancholy to triumphant. This talented band, comprised of seven brothers and sisters, has performed at and opened for noteworthy festivals and artists, including Firefly, Summerfest, The Fray, and Judah and the Lion. Their unique style and sound are sure to entrance you as their tunes carry you into the night.
