Make Rock Hill Work for You

Every day, more than 50,000 York County residents commute across the state line to work in Charlotte, often spending several hours of their day sitting in the congested traffic along I-77. At the same time, companies in Rock Hill and York County are desperately trying to fill their vacant positions with skilled workers.

With the new dedicated jobs website, JobsRockHill.com, Rock Hill Economic Development wants to connect these frustrated commuters with skilled positions in their own community. Since the site's public launch in January 2017, more than 2,300 candidates have signed up to search for new opportunities, and 42 local companies have posted almost 250 jobs in the Rock Hill and York County area—with 130 positions still unfilled and new jobs added every day!

The site is completely free for job seekers to search for positions, post their resumés, and create a professional profile. Employers pay a flat annual fee of $300 to post unlimited job opportunities, and can search for candidates based on their skills, work history, or any other relevant keywords. There is also a low single-post price of $75 for smaller organizations that may only hire once or twice a year.

So why waste your day sitting in traffic? Or pay thousands of dollars to feature your company's positions on national job sites, just to get lost in the shuffle of the jobs in Charlotte? Jobs Rock Hill is making it simple to connect local companies with local job seekers—sign up today at JobsRockHill.com!
