APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 1, 2024

event overview

Old Town Market will be held each Saturday from 9 AM – 2 PM May through October. A special holiday market will be held on Saturday, November 23. This year’s Old Town Market will be held at Fountain Park located at 300 E Main Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730.  

Submission Process

Vendors are required to submit a completed application that includes a signed application and a description of inventory to be sold. Applications can be submitted online by completing and submitting the below application. An invoice will be emailed to vendors for payment.  

set-up

Vendors accepted into Old Town Market will be provided one (1) 10x10 space. This space will be assigned prior to the first market. The City of Rock Hill and Old Town Association will not provide any items such as tents, tables, and/or chairs for vendors.  Setup time will take place between 7 AM – 8:30 AM. Trash cans will be located around the park and restrooms will be located behind Fountain Park stage across the street.  

breakdown

Vendors will be required to breakdown promptly at 2 PM. LEAVING BEFORE 2 PM OR STAYING/OPERATING AFTER 2 PM IS PROHIBITED. Please ensure all vendor spaces are cleaned of all materials and trash prior to leaving. Improper disposal may result in removal from future Old Town Markets for the year.

  • City of Rock Hill Business License. Information can be found at www.cityofrockhill.com or you can reach out to the business licensing office directly via email at businesslicense@cityofrockhill.com or at 803-329-7093.  

  • South Carolina Retail License. Separate from a City of Rock Hill Business License, all businesses operating inside the state of South Carolina must obtain a South Carolina Retail License. For information to obtain a SC Retail License, please contact South Carolina Department of Revenue via email at taxregistration@dor.sc.gov or at 803-896-1350.

A completed application and previous participation in Old Town Markets does not guarantee participation. Vendors will be selected based on information provided on their application. There are limited spaces for each date however, staff will do their best to set a schedule that fits the community while giving equal opportunity to all vendors.

There are limited spaces for each event and 50+ applications are received. To the best of their ability, staff try to set a schedule that they feel will appeal best to patrons in the City of Rock Hill community while giving equal opportunity to all vendors.

Monthly (beginning on the first Saturday of given month) $15.00 per market (select month/s below).
Weekly $20.00 per market (select week/s below)

Applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless the City of Rock Hill and the Old Town Association, its agents, volunteers, elected officials and employees from and against all losses, costs, damages, expenses, and liability caused by an accident or other occurrence in bodily injury, including death, sickness, and disease to any persons, or damage or destruction to property, real or personal, arising directly or indirectly from Applicant’s operations, products or services at Food Truck Fridays at the Fountain.

Applicant agrees to waive, release, and discharge the City of Rock Hill and the Old Town Association, its agents. Volunteers elected officials and employees, of and from all claims, demands, costs, liability and causes of action whatsoever that may arise as a result of applicant’s participation in Food Truck Fridays at The Fountain. Including but not limited to, any claims, causes of action, liability, damages, demands and costs related to injury to any of the applicant’s person or property. This wavier and release shall inure to the benefit of the City of Rock Hill and the Old Town Association and shall bind applicant along with its employees, heirs, legal representatives, assigns and successors in interest of the applicant or any member thereof.

I understand and agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth in this Food Truck Friday at The Fountain application. By signing below, I agree that this application is a binding commitment and the City of Rock Hill, and the Old Town Association has full decision making regarding my participation status.
